Valid NYS Certification: Childhood Education (1-6) and/or Special Education (1-6)
General Statement:
The Interventionist serves as an instructional resource person to provide focused support at the elementary level. The Interventionist will plan and engage students in small-group and individualized learning activities designed to support students in accessing grade-level content/skills. Working closely with the classroom teacher, the Interventionist will ensure RTI alignment with instructional CORE pacing. The Interventionist must have a research-based repertoire of strategies that can be used to improve student achievements.
