Full-Time : 7 hours per day / school calendar plus summer days as needed

Reports to: The Director of Special Education
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Other duties may be assigned.*
- Responsible for day to day management of committee Sub-CSE functions: amendments to IEPs, annual review meetings, requested review meetings and initial CSE meetings
- Placement of new entrants and students returning to the District
- Monitor student progress in their respective placements
- Communicate with staff and outside agencies regarding special education issues
- Serves as special education teacher member at CSE meeting for District and out of district students
- Coordinates the annual review process in conjunction with the CSE Chairperson and the Director of Special Education
- Assist and encourages parents to participate in the annual review process
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Committee on Special Education Chairperson

Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Instructional Supervisor supervises content-area faculty members and carries out these responsibilities in accordance with the district's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems. Supervising: Sub-CSE and Sub-CPSE Chairpersons
