  • and other material from copy, rough draft or dictating machine;
  • Sorts and files correspondence, checks, vouchers, index cards or other materials by numeric, alphabetic or other established classifications;
  • Assists in the maintenance of personnel, payroll, equipment or other records, and in the preparation of reports;
  • Makes simple arithmetic calculations;
  • Computes data from requisitions, statistical reports, time reports or other records;
  • Acts as receptionist;
  • Answers telephone and personal inquiries;
  • Routes visitors and calls;
  • Secures and gives out routine information relating to office operations and activities;
  • Operates the switchboard or other office equipment ;

This is routine work involving cleaning and maintaining order in a school locker room. An employee in this class is also expected to provide a stabilizing influence on students while they are in the locker room. Work is performed under general supervision and includes no supervisory responsibilities, except over students.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains a school locker room in proper order by washing walls, floors, and lockers and by picking up dirty clothing and other locker room paraphernalia.

• Maintains order and decorum in the locker room.

• Opens lockers for students who have forgotten their locker combinations, or keys.

• Maintains adequate supplies in their locker room including soap, towels, and toilet paper.

• Keeps track of all towels, bathing suits, and caps and other gym clothing that has been loaned to the students, makes sure all are returned and used clothing is washed.

• Reports to the supervisor on maintenance or repair problems.

• May mend and repair torn swimming and gym suits.

• May wash children’s clothes if necessary.

• Gets all gym and shower equipment ready before classes for distributor.

Responsibilities of this position reflect the total management of the grant-funded project to ensure the effective implementation of all project components, the submission of timely and complete reports to the relevant funding agency, and the integration of project components with existing district and community services. The incumbent is responsible for the administration of a local, state, or federal grant under the direction of the Office of Instruction. In accordance with the management plan of the specific grant, this position reports to the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction or the designated school principal. Responsibilities:                              

  • Establishes strong working relationships with all project collaborators;
  • Coordinates the creation and/or expansion of a grant-funded program and/or service provided by the district and community partners;
  • Facilitates the start-up, maintenance and/or expansion of all project components;
  • Develops outreach materials for project enrollment and assists in the recruitment of project participants when required;
  • Develops and monitors procedures for complying with grant requirements, guidelines and regulations at local, state and federal levels;
