These duties involve responsibility for relieving classroom teachers during lunch periods in schools where there are no cafeterias. Lunch Aides maintain order and insure that children finish their lunches during the lunch period. The duties of Lunch Aides differ from those of School Monitors in that Lunch Aides are more limited in the degree of responsibility and types of assignment they are given.
